The Public Service Workers’ Alliance Movement is Growing

2 Apr

The network of public service workers’ alliances  is spreading. The level of interest in the alliance movement is very encouraging and we want to thank all of the dedicated activists who are working throughout the country.

The Kerry Public Service Workers’ Alliance (KPSWA) is allied to the Dublin based National Public Service Alliance (Contact: Paddy Healy 086-4183732). The Dundalk PSWA has also joined the campaign (Contact: dundalkpswa@gmail.com). New alliances in Carlow, Cork, Donegal and Kildare are starting up and contacts will be posted here shortly.

Another group has been established in Kilkenny and Waterford. There is fury at grass roots level at the sell out by the leadership. It is time for more democracy within the unions. People Power is needed now. Secretaries should be elected.
